Aha, the Trearddur Bay wedding we’d been waiting for. My assistant Niamh and I enjoyed Jade and Dave’s pre-wedding shoot so much, we had far too much fun. The reason for this was Jade and Dave’s attitude, they were completely in our zone. No holding back, no pretence, their attitude was let’s get this right and give it everything we’ve got and have some fun whilst we’re at it. What a wonderful approach to life!
A Trearddur Bay wedding in August.
Would their wedding day go as well? It did actually, better in fact. Some images below are my favourite of the year, for that very reason, there was no holding back. The documentary shots show expressions that I could only hope to capture. There are some genuinely touching moments that still resonate with me. Our time after the ceremony with the limousine was not easy. Fighting the midday sun, terrific winds and passing cars, Jade and Dave gave me 100%. Later on in the day when rain arrived, as it does in Trearddur Bay in August, yet again Jade and Dave were open to anything I threw at them, I had to be imaginative but it didn’t phase them. That’s how it’s done folks, give 100% and you’ll be glad you did.
