What to say about a Carreglwyd wedding that I haven’t said before.
Let’s step back for a moment though. The images below illustrate what Anglesey has to offer, it really is a perfect location for a wedding.
Yes, your guests have to travel but that does add to the charm. What could be more romantic than attending a wedding on an island. Guests usually make a mini break of it and they get to see our beautiful beaches, practically empty too. We have cool places to stay and cool places to eat. I count myself so lucky that I work at some of the most beautiful, unique wedding venues the U.K. has to offer, right here on Anglesey.
A late October Carreglwyd Wedding
Marianne and Tim love Trearddur Bay, they have family there and so their service was held at St. Ffraids. Then off to Carreglwyd. Marianne’s father had organised a special car (have you got a special car? I always ask) from Newborough Classic and vintage wedding cars . The opening shot to the wedding album (see below) didn’t simply happen, I made it happen, I had to stop traffic, all of the wedding traffic. Goodness it was worth it, it’s always worth it. Images like this are full of narrative and it’s an element of my photography that I’m very proud of.
A Carreglwyd Wedding Album
The images below are of an album I designed for my studio. It’s beautiful. I use a company called Folio to make my albums, they’re based in the U.K. Their paper and inks lend themselves to my style of photography.
If you identify with my photography and you’re planning a wedding, come to my studio to meet me, look through the album and let’s plan.
