I hadn’t covered a wedding at Hendre Hall before. It’s just so great to have the opportunity to add another venue to my portfolio. I liked it there, it’s rustic, it’s a bit raw but you can put your own stamp on it. Which is exactly what Nikki and Rich did. Rich works away so a great deal of the day was a surprise to him. He marvelled at the ingenuity of his new wife. I did too, I loved all of the detail, this wedding what right up my street.
The most original wedding vehicle!
To be precise it was a 1952 Bedford RL Army truck (little bit of Rich’s personality coming through). Rich had organised for Nikki to arrive at Hendre in this unique wedding vehicle, available from Newborough vintage and classic wedding cars, where else! Their Austin Westminster was there too. I’m becoming more and more adept at using these fabulously large props.
The beautiful afternoon tea and Hog roast, (which I got to sample much later on in the day) was provided by Bradley’s Kitchen. Flowers by Flowers by Arrangement. This was November remember, they were a very lucky bride and groom.
