You can imagine can’t you, a Chateau Rhianfa Christmas wedding, of course it’s going to be bursting with decorations, really nice ones too. Last year I shot Christy and Sarah’s wedding here on the 21st of December so the 3rd wasn’t worrying me. We have to assume we’ll be staying indoors, any time outdoors is a bonus.
Beaumaris Pier though?
Oh heck we did it. Chris and Caroline had that gritty determination that I love and we went for it. Yes it was chilly, windy a bit damp even. If you have an idea for your wedding images it’s always worth pushing on with them.
Preparations were at the Chateau. It’s always fun running between both parties. Then over to St. Mary and St. Nicholas in Beaumaris for the ceremony. It’s a perfect arrangement really.
Chateau Rhianfa’s Gardens
They just keep getting better actually and there’s still some interest in December. You have to be prepared to pick up your skirts and run, there’s so many lovely spots to use and I want to use them all.
Who else was at Chris and Caroline’s day? Rhiannon Pritchard was Make artist, Julia Nicholls was hairstylist, Carol from Cherri Blue the florist. Caroline wore a Stella York dress. Chris’s sister made their cake; a real labour of love when any family member contributes.
