A Vow Renewal at Chateau Rhianfa
David and Jennifer could think of nowhere more perfect than Chateau Rhianfa for their vow renewal. Their adventure around Europe from The States brought them to a Chateau on an island, it’s impossibly romantic isn’t it.
Ah, the summer house
David and I had chatted on the phone prior to their arrival on Anglesey. Having a good knowledge of Chateau Rhianfa I felt the summer house was a perfect location for their vow renewal. From the Chateau it’s a short walk through beautiful gardens, it peeps above the hedges. The summer house offers seclusion for such an occasion. No-one else staying at Chateau Rhianfa would have known David and Jennifer’s plans, nobody witnessed their exchange of vows, apart from me of course. On staying that, I was out of ear shot, these were private words for just two people, I concentrated on the light.
Positively perfect light
We’re in early August and summer is being awkward. The rain threatened to start but never did. The sun was behind the clouds giving me beautifully defused light. Colours were vibrant, shadows weren’t present and once David and Jennifer had finished exchanging their vows we explored Chateau Rhianna’s grounds. Confidence grew as they got used to the process and two hours flew by. I left them just as the clouds burst open.
