This Quay Hotel wedding was going to be a corker, I just knew it. Soprano Llio Evans was to marry Conductor Eugene Monteith. You’re right, I don’t normally mention professions in my blog. I was starstruck though, thoroughly starstruck by today’s bride and groom. On top of that they weren’t camera shy and they were dizzy with excitement for their day.

This was to be quite a small wedding Eugene explained. Just Eugene’s immediate family were coming over from Ireland. Irish weddings are grand affairs and if the celebration took place in Ireland there’d be three hundred plus guests.

Musicians have friends who are musicians. We were treated to performances by a harpist, two pianists, a baritone and a violist. Not to mention Llio’s beautiful voice as she sang the hymns.

Quay hotel wedding – first a stop a famous railway station

I’m an Anglesey wedding photographer, based on Anglesey and have visited many places with brides and grooms but never the famous LlanfairPG railway station. It was a whistle stop visit but Llio and Eugene was happy to hurry. A bride and groom that skip, laugh and hold hands tightly make for good photography. It was a brief ten minutes well spent. Off we went over to the Quay Hotel in Deganwy where the celebrations continued.

Here is just a flavour of Llio and Eugene’s wedding. If you like the way I’ve told their story then please let’s talk about your wedding photography. I’m happy to cover your North Wales wedding, I’m happy to cover your Llyn Peninsular wedding too actually. I consider myself not only to be an Anglesey photographer but a North Wales wedding photographer too.

Other wedding suppliers involved in the day were: Rhiannon Pritchard – make up, flowers by Luna Flower Rhos on Sea, wedding dress from Wedding Belles Llanfair PG
