An Anglesey farm wedding, how very exciting, on lots of levels as it turned out.
Catrin is a planner, she’s a busy lady and plans way in advance. I love a plan, I like organisation, we were going to get along. Catrin had some quite specific requests. She showed me photograph albums belonging to Carwyn’s family. She wanted to reproduce some of these images on their wedding day. A really nice touch I thought.
A fabulous Anglesey farm wedding
This was a huge wedding, people from all generations were invited. I do love the chat amongst the guests as they eagerly wait for the bride to arrive, all very Les Dawson. Buckets of confetti are popular these days, I’m all for them. Grab a handful and off we go, no packaging, no ‘salt and pepper’ sprinkling of confetti. Catrin’s confetti was scented, another nice touch.
The significance of the wind turbine in the photographs? Catrin and Carwyn had fought hard to obtain one and together they’d triumphed. Appropriate it should appear in their wedding gallery. Actually these two are a force to be reckoned with, they’re just so exciting to be around, I have a feeling I’ll be photographing them again.
You can see Catrin and Carwyn’s pre-wed shoot amongst my engagement gallery here. I’m Gill Jones and I’m an Anglesey wedding photographer and North Wales wedding photographer. If you’d like to contact me regarding your wedding please do.
