Bodnant Welsh Food Wedding
At long last it’s Rhian and Gethin’s wedding day. During these very peculiar pandemic years everyone clung to this wedding, including me. The Bodnant Welsh Food Wedding folk managed to bump their wedding date along, reschedule after reschedule and now their day had finally arrived, phew! I’d spent time with Rhian and Gethin, shot their pre-wed session, met to discuss schedules with their parents. I was committed to them and they to me. Hallelujah we could now get on with their fabulous wedding day.
Summer time at Bodnant Gardens
Well, it’s simply breathtaking. It’s also mind boggling where to begin, overwhelming infact. Visitors were respectful of Rhian and Gethin but they did look like rock stars arriving in the super Daimler 250 from Newborough classic and vintage cars. After our time at the gardens we joked that we could simply take off to a cassino in London in this amazing car. We collected ourselves and headed to the party at the Bodnant Food Centre.
A little shout out to Anna Macauley, one half of the Marc Macauley Catering company. Smooth communications between wedding suppliers is essential, it makes for a happy day. Dodging showers and completing the formals wasn’t easy but Anna was enoromously accommodating and I thank her for this.
