A very special Bodysgallen Hall Wedding

It is such a treat to cover a wedding at Bodysgallen Hall. What’s more, today I’m with people I know, not only that, my son is home from London and he’s a guest.

Evie and Reece

I know it’s cringe worthy to say but I’ve known Reece since he was a boy. I’m privy to most of the best men’s stories and all of those that they left out too. Oh the secrets that us Mums keep. What a joy it was for me to be asked to photograph their special wedding day. I photographed Evie’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. I get to spend time with her family again along with their newest edition. Evie embodies feelings of calm and serenity and her morning was blissful for all us suppliers.

Tears

I used to think I was intruding if someone shed a tear at a wedding, so I steered clear with my lens. Not any more, I positively hunt teary folk out. I can remember a photographer taking my picture as my daughter sang at a family wedding, it didn’t make the cut I’m glad to say, I’m not a gentle crier, full on gurning more like. It was the groom this time who couldn’t contain his tears. It was so endearing,  this wonderful young man was overcome with emotion as every chapter of his day unfolded.

The Best of Men

Oh I am completely biased but actually Kane and Rhodri and all of the wedding party did a sterling job in steering the wedding day in the right direction at the right speed.

These young men used to fill my kitchen with laughter as they partied birthday after birthday with my son and daughter. They really are so very special to Rich and myself. Stop with my gushing let me tell you who else helped Reece and Evie with their wonderful day.
